Submission Guidelines

E-Justice India Global Law Journal

Types of Submissions Accepted

We invite original and unpublished manuscripts from academicians, legal professionals, research scholars, and law students under the following categories:


I. Long Articles

Word Limit: 3,500–10,000 words (excluding footnotes)
Long articles must present a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of a legal issue. The submission should include a detailed review of existing literature, identify gaps, and offer constructive recommendations or theoretical contributions.


II. Essays / Short Articles

Word Limit: 1,200–3,500 words (excluding footnotes)
Essays or short articles should present concise yet critical insights into a specific legal issue. The submission must be focused, argumentative, and provide fresh perspectives or legal interpretations.


III. Case Notes and Legislative Comments

Word Limit: 1,200–3,500 words
This category includes analysis of recent judgments, legislative amendments, or policy initiatives. Submissions must examine legal developments, trace precedents (if applicable), and highlight their broader implications.


General Submission Instructions

  • All submissions must be original and unpublished. Simultaneous submissions to other journals are not permitted.
  • A plagiarism level below 10% is mandatory.
  • Co-authorship of up to three authors is permitted.
  • Each long article and short article must be accompanied by an abstract of 200–300 words.
  • Authors are solely responsible for any legal implications arising from their work, including copyright violations or defamation.
  • Submissions violating the ethical policy or showing signs of plagiarism will be rejected without review.

Formatting Guidelines

  • Font & Spacing:
    • Main text: Times New Roman, size 12, 1.5 line spacing
    • Footnotes: Times New Roman, size 10, single line spacing
  • Citation Format:
    • Footnotes must conform to the Bluebook (19th or 20th Edition).
    • Submissions with improper citations may be rejected or returned for revision.
  • Manuscript Structure:
    1. First Page: Title of the Paper, Author(s) Name(s), Affiliation(s), Abstract
    2. Second Page Onward: Main body of the manuscript
    3. All headings must follow a uniform style and should be clearly marked (e.g., I., A., 1., (a), etc.)

Submission Process

  • All manuscripts must be submitted through the official Google Form link (to be provided on the website).
  • The submitted manuscript becomes the property of E-Justice India Global Law Journal. The journal reserves the right to republish or cross-publish accepted papers without prior consent of the authors (due credit will always be provided).
